Our signature tour takes in some of the most beautiful sights the area has to offer from Millionaire's View to the Falls of Shin. The highlight of the day is  a visit to the magical and magnificent Dunrobin Castle. Guests will arrive in good time for the falconry display (not to be missed) and will have plenty time to peruse the Castle, Grounds and Museum.

Invergordon Tours signature group tour takes in the very best of the Scottish Highlands during your day at the port in a luxury 16 seater (max 15 guests). Our larger group tour sold out so we have added another even more exclusive 16 seater tour as there is so much demand on this date and we hate letting guests down.
We specialise in making our group tours feel more like a private tour with a new friend in the Scottish Highlands.

DALMORE distillery

The day will kick off with a taste of the 12yr old at Dalmore distillery. Other tastings will be available for purchase on the day including one of our favourite drams the Dalmore King Alexander III which is £160 a bottle but you can taste it at the distillery for just £5. The Cigar Malt and 18yr old old are other favourites at Invergordon Tours.

Alness

For most of the 1990s and early 2000s Alness regularly entered and won flower competitions such as Scotland in Bloom, Britain in Bloom and World In Bloom; winning a large number of awards including the prestigious Champion of Champions Britain in Bloom: RHS Gold Medal. They have not entered in recent years due to the financial cost however the town is still adorned by flowers maintained by hard working volunteers.

Dunrobin castle and falconry

Dunrobin Castle & Gardens which is very popular with locals and it always goes down well with our guests. The falconry display is amazing - Andy (The Falconer) has been working with local birds for over 25 years and his knowledge and passion shine through. He's a very interesting character and many people say it's the best they've seen in the world. The castle looks like it is straight out of a fairy-tale and set in the Scottish Highlands it looks magnificent. Dunrobin also has a wonderfully unique museum and taxidermy collection.

THE royal burgh of Dornoch

Picture
The Royal Burgh of Dornoch is an historic town on the edge of the Dornoch Firth, a designated National Scenic Area in the Highlands of Scotland. Its tranquil location, scenery and climate have attracted visitors for decades. Invergordon Tours particularly likes having an ice cream on Dornoch beach, shopping in the old Jail or visiting the 13th century cathedral. It's also a great place to grab some lunch!! VisitDornoch.com

falls of shin & SALMON LEAP

Carved from the great glaciers of the last Ice Age are the Falls of Shin, a breathtaking natural salmon leap set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Its mighty currents force the icy waters over ancient riverbeds creating the perfect habitat for freshwater fish such as the graceful Atlantic Salmon. Visit the Falls of Shin and see if you can catch sight of the salmon, leaping upstream to the calmer waters of their birthplace, Loch Shin, to spawn future generations. Falls of Shin is recognised as being one of the best places in all of Scotland to watch leaping Atlantic Salmon, and the fish can be seen anytime between May and November, with the late summer months making this almost guaranteed.
