the ultimate Loch Ness group tour

Why book with Invergordon Tours?

Why book with Invergordon Tours? We believe our Loch Ness Group Tour is unlike any other cruise ship excursion offered at the port. Our priority is to make the day fun, informative, and relaxed – after all, you're on holiday! We genuinely care about you leaving with a smile on your face and go the extra mile to make sure every single one of our guests feels looked after.

We also understand that some people have reservations about group tours. We feel the same way when we travel, which is why we've created the best possible group tour from Invergordon. Gavin started Invergordon Tours by offering private tours in his BMW X5 for a maximum of 4 guests, then moved to a 29-seater, and finally settled on a luxury 53-seater coach (with approximately 45 guests on board). This allowed more guests arriving at Invergordon to enjoy our unique 5-star Loch Ness tour, which we've perfected over the last 13 years.

The benefit of the big bus is a fantastic elevated view, plenty of space, and an onboard toilet. You also spend as little time as possible on the bus because we know you're here to experience Scotland, not sit on a bus. Every stop is handled smoothly and efficiently so you can focus on enjoying your tour.

The day begins with a scenic 1-hour drive to Loch Ness.

At Urquhart Castle your tickets are pre-booked minimising the amount of time it take to enter Urquhart Castle ruins as soon as they open. You'll have approximately 1 hour to watch the introductory movie (if you wish) and explore the ruins. Your group then boards Jacobite's boat at the castle's dock which is down at the ruins so no need to climb back up to the visitor centre. We believe the 1-hour cruise is the best way to experience Loch Ness, with a live tour guide and a bar on board.

The bus then meets you at Dochgarroch and takes you through Inverness to Cawdor Castle, where you'll have an hour to wander the castle and gardens. Again, this is prepaid allowing you to enter as quickly as possible on arrival.

Next, it's a short, scenic drive to Culloden Battlefield. You can enter the visitor centre but most of our guests enjoy walking the battlefield with your tour guide Fiona, who shares insights about the battle and even offers Gaelic singing and a whisky toast – a unique experience that even captivated Sir Ian McKellan when he sneaked on to our tour.

Finally, you'll enjoy a scenic drive back to Invergordon, taking a different route for much of the return journey.

We believe this is the best tour from Invergordon, with the best tour guide. It's also great value at £129 per person, including entrance fees to both castles and the Jacobite cruise on Loch Ness.

Book now and enjoy the very best Loch Ness Experience with Invergordon Tours.
